It would hardly be advisable to close this period without giving due recognition to some prominent people whose life beneficially affected the barrios and towns, and whose deeds, evoked wide and lasting admiration.

Fr. Diego Paras (1889-1890), Rev. Fr. Casimiro Albete (1890-1892), Rev. Fr. Nicolas Mendoza (1892-1893), Rev. Fr. Catalino Mendoza (1893), Rev. Fr. Mariano Sarmiento (1893-1904).
